9 day old Newborn Puppies

This evening I got to photograph some adorable, tiny, squishy 9 day old newborn puppies and their momma. A local friend of mine fosters a lot of dogs for 'The Last Resort Rescue' and tries to get them adopted out into their furr-ever homes. She pulled a heavily pregnant momma dog from the pound, so she would have a more comfortable place to give birth. Literally only 1-2 days passed and the momma dog went into labor, giving birth to 10 beautiful babies. My friend reached out to me, to do a 'Newborn Puppy' session and I could not say no, as it had been a bucket-list session of mine.

Beautiful Sadie, she will be up for adoption once her puppies are old enough and ready to leave her.
